FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: DENVER, COLO. (February 4, 2025) — The National Service Office for Nurse-Family Partnership® and Child First announced today that Dr. Meghan López has been named Chief Program and Network Officer (CPNO). Dr. López brings 25 years of experience in evidence-based program development, family support, and global health leadership, with a focus on strengthening communities through policy-driven, sustainable interventions.

Charlotte Min-Harris, president and CEO of the National Service Office, said, “Meghan is a visionary leader with a deep commitment to families and communities. Her extensive experience in program optimization and strategic advocacy will be invaluable as we continue strengthening the alignment of our programs, network operations, and policy initiatives. We are thrilled to have her join our executive leadership team at this pivotal moment.”

In her role as CPNO, Dr. López will oversee NSO programs, the Nurse-Family Partnership program, the Child First program, Network Development, and Policy and Government Affairs. Her leadership will focus on enhancing support for network partners and affiliates, strengthening the integration of policy and programmatic efforts, and fostering seamless collaboration across departments to improve outcomes for families nationwide.

Dr. López began her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay before working as a nurse, doula and volunteer home visitor for refugee families in Baltimore, Maryland. She has held leadership positions at organizations such as the International Rescue Committee, Global Support and Development, and Whole Child International, where she led large-scale program expansions, policy initiatives, and research collaborations. She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and a Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner both from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.

Dr. López resides in Gordonsville, Virginia, with her husband, three children, two dogs, and four horses.
