Idaho’s Nurse-Family Partnership program was first established in 2012 through the Panhandle Health District, which today serves families in Boundary, Bonner, Kootenai, Benewah, and Shoshone counties. In 2015, Southwest District Health began delivering NFP in Canyon County. Nurse-Family Partnership’s services to Idaho families reduce the risk of abuse and neglect for children and families. In addition, families achieve healthier pregnancies and births, stronger child development, and a path toward economic self-sufficiency.
